Emails sent by HR Officer

We're waiting for Joe Public to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Glasgow City Council,

Can you provide me with a copy of all emails sent between 22 December 2014 and 22 March 2015 from Geraldine Ham who was HR Manager for department that managed Cleansing services at the time.

Please ensure that this is all emails relating to this horrific incident including any that were deemed "not relevant" to the related FAI in 2015.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Glasgow City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Glasgow City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Emails sent by HR Officer'.

you are asking for my identification - I have confirmed this, given the position of this HR person is it that there is maybe some sort of conflict of interests in some of her emails.

Reminder - emails on GCC Vault are retained without limit, maybe best to get the info out before anyone retires without trace :)

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/e...

Yours faithfully,

Joe Public

Dear Sir

We refer to your correspondence of 12 October 2021. We understand that you are requesting an internal review of your freedom of information request.

Section 8 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 states that an applicant must provide their name for a request to be valid. The Scottish Information Commissioner’s guidance indicates that if a request is invalid, the public authority is under no obligation to comply with the request. The Commissioner has no power to carry out an investigation into invalid requests or to order an authority to disclose information if the request was invalid. Where public authorities believe there are grounds to confirm the identity of a requester, the Commissioner’s guidance notes that this can be done by asking the person submitting the request to provide proof of identity. In light of the different names you have given to us, you are aware that we have requested evidence of your identity but to date we have not received it.

Unfortunately we are unable to proceed with your request or with your request for review until this information is provided. We are unable to conduct a review of a request that has not been validated.

Please note that requests for review must also contain the name of the requester to be valid.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Regards.
