Dear Barnet Borough Council,

Under either the Freedom of Information Act or the Environmental Information Regulations, can I kindly request the following information from your planning department:

Background: In 2012 there was a fire at Upper Fosters, New Brent Street. Subsequently the tower block was re-wired in respect of Electricity supply.

Data Requested: as per BS 7671, Part P, the Wiring Regulations can you please supply copies of the following information:

1) Electrical Installation Certificate or Minor Work Certificate that confirms that the work meets BS 7671; and
2) Building Regulations Compliance Certificate that confirms that the work meets the Building Regulations.
3) Confirmation of whether the certificates were produced/issued by the Electrician who did the works or by Barnet Council.
4) Confirmation of the name of the company that completed these works.

As I am unclear whether this request should be dealt with by Barnet Council or the Landlord Barnet Homes, I will also send this to Barnet Homes.
