Dear Mr Smith,

Request for Information

Thank you for your information request dated 25 October 2017  (received by
Angus Council that same day). You have requested information relating to
electric vehicle charging points for which I provide the following
responses:

1.       How many public electric vehicle (EV) charging points do you
currently have in your council area?

Angus Council currently have 13 operational units which equates to 26
bays. We have a further 3 units under construction which will therefore be
a further 6 bays.

2.       How many do you plan to have by 2020?

The majority of electric vehicle charging points installed in Angus have
been done so with the use of Transport Funding.  We are awaiting an
announcement for future years’ grant.  Angus Council has not identified
additional funding for electric vehicle charging points for these years.

3.       How many do you plan to have by 2032?

Please see response to question 2 above.

In compiling responses to information requests we invariably use
information which is routinely published on the Council’s website or
through its Publication Scheme.  If you require further information please
