Effects on the environment

Kerry made this Freedom of Information request to Croydon Borough Council Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Croydon Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Croydon Borough Council,
Please can you tell me what all the small holes are for on the pavement and how many have been carried out also would like to know how much this is costing and what affect is this having on our environment???
I’m a very concerned resident as I know drilling lots of holes in the pavement can’t be good for anyone

Yours faithfully,
Miss k S

Freedom of Information request or EIR

Thank you for your recent request for information. This is to inform you
that we are unable to answer your request based on what you have
requested.

Could you please clarify in greater detail exactly the information you are
requesting regarding holes in pavements.

Specifically, we would require more information if we are to launch an
investigation. Information such as locations, are these holes within a
reinstatement on the highway.  There may be myriad of reasons such as
coring by the Council but they could be utilities doing their own coring,
or other reasons such as trial holes.

Kindly be informed that the time for processing your request stops until
we hear from you.  Please quote the above reference in your correspondence
with us. In some circumstances a fee may be payable and if that is the
case, either myself or a colleague will let you know the likely charges
before proceeding.

If we do not hear from you within the next 20 working days we will close
your request.

Please provide your clarification by responding to this email. Please do
not amend the Subject line.

Kind Regard

Dear [email address],

Yours sincerely,

Kerry

Dear Croydon Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Croydon Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Effects on the environment'.

I have now established that the round holes on the foot path are due to your Coring Programme.
Iv seen from an additional request on this site that you have lost the paper work that refers to when the coring programme started? Could you at least share some documentation used to advised all utility’s that the coring programme was about to commence ?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/e...

Yours faithfully,

Kerry smooth
