Early retirement/voluntary redundancy

please provide:
1. Copy of your current ER/VR policy
2. The anticipated revision date of this policy
3. Breakdown of numbers of staff (excluding schools) leaving the council under the ER/VR policy for the financial years 2016/17 and year to date.
Should it be anticipated that the collation of this data may exceed the time threshold exemption please advise and I will amend my questions accordingly.

Voluntary Redundancy Early Retirement
2016/17 25 Less than 5 – see below
2017 – date 27 Less than 5 – see below
The policy was due to be revised in 2016 on a 3 year programme but this
has been delayed due to other priorities.
We believe that this information is exempt under s40 (2) of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (the Act). Section 40 applies to personal information
which is exempt under the Act. Due to the small numbers involved there is
a risk that persons may become identifiable. Given the subject matter we
do not believe it is in the public interest to disclose these figures.
We hope that this information deals with your request, however if you are
dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask
for an internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted to
[1][email address] within two months of the date of receipt
of the response to your original request.
If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have
the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a
