Dear Glasgow City Council,

I am writing to make a request for information under section 1 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Please can you confirm whether Glasgow City Council holds any information produced since the UK government's announcement of e-scooter trials in Great Britain in May 2020 which relates to the matters of:
a) The costs and benefits of Glasgow City Council establishing an e-scooter trial in the city.
b) Whether, how and when Glasgow City Council should establish an e-scooter trial in the city.

If any such information exists, please can you provide it to me.

Yours faithfully,

Kenneth MacArthur

Kenneth MacArthur

Dear Glasgow City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information/Environmental Information Regulations reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Glasgow City Council's handling of my request 'E-scooter trial in Glasgow'.

I am grateful for the information which you have provided me with. However, this information was - either entirely or substantially - already publicly available, and I find it difficult to believe that you hold no other information which satisfies the criteria set out in my request.

For example, with regards the paper taken to the City Administration Committee on 22 October 2020 - which clearly touches on the matters raised in my request, in particular point (a) - how was this paper produced? Were there no e-mail exchanges or similar? Have no internal documents (or drafts of such documents) which touch on these matters been created?

What about work on the trial design? Again, this self-evidently touches on the matters raised in my request, in particular the "how" of point (b).

Please can you provide all of the information that satisfies the criteria set out in my request. Alternatively, please confirm categorically that no information exists beyond that provided in your original response.

A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/e...

Yours faithfully,

Kenneth MacArthur
