Roedd y cais yn rhannol lwyddiannus.

I am writing to make a request for copies of, or the part of, Policy And the Guidelines in use for implementation of Means testing and deductions (all versions 2018 to 2023) carried out while processing Universal Credit claims. The same for UC Debt Managment.

The policy I am looking for are:
Insurance payments; Income protection, Critical illness (before retirement age)
Ill-health Pensions (before retirement age.)
Mortgage protection payments.

Policy pertaining the integration of other means tested benefits, i.e. ESA, PIP etc. and alighnment or compatiblity of policy.

The formula for means testing or the policy setting the minimum level of income at which means testing is neccessary.

Yours faithfully,

Michael J Wormald

Dear Michael Wormald,

I am writing in response to your request for information, received 10th
June.

Yours sincerely,

DWP Central FoI Team

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

The idea that any of the information requested isn't immediately available, or not included in the basic training of staff, or that the processes and policies are not in office or actually on the desk of the staff suggests that either that there is no training and consistent policy; or that policy has been left deliberately vague and inaccessible.

I am taking your response, along with the cause and details of UC's failures, and presenting it to oversight committee.

Yours faithfully,

Michael Wormald
