Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'DWP twitter accounts'.

Your response said:

"The DWP does not block or mute any individuals on Twitter. "

I did not request information about "individuals" blocked or muted, it was about "accounts", which can include likes of organisations, companies or groups and any accounts that do not clearly indicate they belong to an individual (natural person "individuals").

You can see an example of one account your have blocked at
https://twitter.com/puddletash/status/11...
Indicating @puddletash has been blocked by @DWPPressOffice, screenshot of evidence https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EDFfatlXkAAz...

Dear Frank Zola,

I am writing in response to your request for information, received 28th
August.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'DWP twitter accounts'.

Thanks for today's response, in which you say

"ince the creation of the @DWPpressoffice Twitter account in September 2011, we can
confirm that there have been 53 Twitter accounts that have been blocked by the department."
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/5...

However, my request covered the DWP twitter accounts

"@DWP
@DWPPressOffice
@ODIgovuk
@findajobsupport
@JCPJobsPlusMore
@DWPonDisability
@DWPDigital
@DWPDigitalJobs"
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

Not just @DWPpressoffice

I also asked for twitter accounts the above DWP accounts had

muted
https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitte...

not just those it has

blocked
https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitte...

You also said some of the information I request would be exempted as it would be "personal data", this is understood. However, not all twitter accounts are used by individuals, for instance the twitter accounts @DWP and @DWPPressOffice are not accounts associated to a living person but a public authority. For all
of the DWP twitter accounts listed account please disclose the @ name/user name for each account your have muted or blocked that are not accounts of individual living persons but for public authorities, organisations, campaign groups, companies, charities etc

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

Yours faithfully,

Frank Zola
