Dear Mr Jackson

Freedom of information Act 2000 (‘FOIA’)

Request for information

Thank you for your email dated 10 June 2017 in which you requested copies
of all driver running boards.  From our preliminary assessment, it is
clear that we will not be able to answer your request without further
clarification.

We require further information in order to identify and locate the
information you have asked for. In particular, it would be useful to know
what you mean by ‘running boards’. It would also be useful for you to
clarify over what period of time or other particular criteria (for
example, a particular bus route or times) you wish to be applied to your
request.

Once you have clarified your request, I will be able to assess your
request in more detail in order to confirm whether or not we can provide
the required information. If I do not receive clarification within three
months your request will be considered to have lapsed. Please note that
under section 1(3) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, a public
authority need not comply with a request unless any further information
reasonably required to locate the information is supplied.

Yours sincerely,

Angela Marsh

A 'running board' , in this case, is a timetable for drivers. They are created using systems such as Trapeze FX and OmniBase. Other names for this document are: duty card, running card, duty sheet etc.
Lloyd and Angela, I hope this helps.
(Could you also request Capital Links and Park and Ride running boards too? Thanks)

Dear Angela Marsh,

I am writing to you with regards my FOI request, where you asked for clarification on what i meant by driver running boards.

Running boards or duty boards/cards are the 'timetables' issued to drivers or vehicles upon the start of their shift. These boards detail the routes of which the driver will operate that day, and the timing points along said routes.

I hope you are able to source this information, and if you require any further clarification, please do not hesitate to email me.

Yours sincerely,

Lloyd Jackson
