Driver Medical Information

Pat James made this Freedom of Information request to Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, in the context of:
the first party being the subject driver
the second party being the DVLA
the third party being anyone else including but not limited to the Police, Local Authorities, Private Parking Companies (and their Agent) Civil Enforcement of any Kind.

Is any medical information related to the first party's licence conditions, given or otherwise divulged to a third party, by the second party.

If the answer is yes, please provide the authorisation (in Law not Legislation) and the justification for the release of such information.

This is a very simple question, therefore no excused will be accepted for delay.

Yours faithfully,

Pat James

Dear FOI FOI, again you refer to legislation where I specifically rule out legislation as my request is regards application of the Law, not acts and statutes which only have the force of law by consent. As you have provided no evidence of consent, I demand an answer in the context of the common law.

Yours sincerely,

Pat James

Dear FOI FOI, you have not addressed the point of my request which was made exclusive of legislation, therefore you have not conducted a review in accordance with the requirements of the Act. I therefor reject uour review findings as irrelevant.

Yours sincerely,

Pat James
