Dear Equality and Human Rights Commission,

This is a formal request under FOIA.

Please, provide copies of documents related to:

1. Dress code (uniform) policies recommendations by ECHR in:

a) mental health
b) health elsewhere (medical, surgical, children's wards, elderly)

2. Copies of any documents relevant to mental health and religious dress worn by mental health workers.

3. Copies of any documents asking EHRC to address the issue of religious dress and mental health. There could be some correspondence in ex CEO office (Mr Philip?) as well going back more than a decade. Also, please, provide copies of documents (if any) from government officials asking EHRC to address the issue of religion and mental health.

Subject: Freedom of Information Request

Thank you for your email received yesterday 26 August 2015, in which you
make the following request for information:

''Please, provide copies of documents related to:

 

1. Dress code (uniform) policies recommendations by ECHR in:

Before we can proceed with request 1 (a) and (b), we require clarification
as to whether you mean the 'EHRC', (Equality and Human Rights
Commission)? 

When you have provided this clarification we will aim to send you a full
response within 20 working days of its receipt. We look forward to hearing
from you shortly. Please note that if we do not receive appropriate
clarification of your requests within 3 months from the date of this
letter, we will deem this request to be closed.

With regard to points 2 and 3 of your request, as this amounts to a
request for information that the Commission may hold, in accordance with
the requirements of section 10 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we
will respond promptly, and in any event no later than 20 working days
following the date of receipt of the request. In this instance a response
will be with you no later than 24 September 2015. If for any reason we are
not able to meet this deadline, we will notify you and give you an
indication of when we will send you a full response.
