Dear Mr/Ms Martin,

Enquiry Ref: 2015/6885

I write in response to your request for information dated 5th November 2015.

The number of domestic abuse related incidents logged on the Force’s Crime Reporting Information System for each of the years from 2010 to present, broken down by month, if available.

A = The way domestic abuse incidents are recorded was changed in the financial year 2014/15 so we only have data from April 2014 to October 2015. See attachment.
Please note a domestic abuse incident is any incident with a QL23 indicator attached.

The People Proceeded Against data relating to the aforementioned incidents, broken down by gender, if available.

A = ‘People Proceeded Against’ data as it’s not something we hold – we haven’t actually heard of it.
We can give you the domestic abuse figures per month in relation to gender (as attached).

Details of any organisation or service commissioned to provide victims’ services in the Force’s area

A = Cleveland Victim Support Service.

Please note the Cleveland Police response to your request is unique and should not be used as a comparison with any other force response you receive.

If you are not satisfied with this response or any actions taken in dealing with your request you have the right to request an independent internal review of your case under our review procedure. The APP College of Policing guidance states that a request for internal review should be made within 20 working days of the date on this response unless extenuating circumstances to account for the delay can be evidenced.

If I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,
