I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act,

I would like to know the scale of Dog Trafficking in Bristol from January 2016-January 2018.

i) How many incidents you have recorded of dog trafficking in Bristol in that time period?

ii) How much you have had to train your staff in order to be best prepared to deal with dog trafficking situations?

I would like to know the scale of Dog Trafficking in Bristol from January
2016-January 2018.

 

i) How many incidents you have recorded of dog trafficking in Bristol in
that time period?

 

ii) How much you have had to train your staff in order to be best prepared
to deal with dog trafficking situations?

 

There are no obvious notifiable offences that would cover Dog Trafficking.
Please can you calrify what particular offences you would like us to
search our crime recording system for?

 

I will be unable to start to process your request until I have received
your clarification. If your clarification is not received within 20
working days this request will be closed.

I am particularly looking for statistics in that time frame (January

Our response:

 

We have not identified any information relevant to your request. You may
wish to contact the relevant local authority as the Breeding and Sale of
Dogs (Welfare) Act 1999 is enforced by local councils. Information about
animal welfare legislation can be found [2]here.
