Dear Bury Metropolitan Borough Council,

Background to this request:
It is acknowledged as per a previous FOI request - reference 11344 reply dated 16th October 2019 that Bury Council remain the owner of the old fire station site. It is also acknowledged that Bury Council are seeking strategic disposal of the site as per a previous FOI request - reference 11287 provided undated but sent on 25th September 2019. The context of this request is the efforts made to achieve the Council's stated objective of a successful sale of this site and the decision-making process that determined the Council's stated objective of strategic disposal of this site.

FOI Request:
Please, could you provide a copy of all written documentation pertaining to future plans for the site including the proposals for or attempted disposal of the Old Fire Station site at The Rock, Bury?

Please include, but do not limit to, the following:
Documentation relating to the decision (including e-mails, meeting minutes etc) where the council determined its stated objective of strategic disposal of the site.

The date the council decided its stated objective was to seek strategic disposal of the site.

Efforts to action the disposal of the site since the council made since the decision its objective was to seek strategic disposal of the site.

Documentation relating to the delay between becoming the owner of the site in 2012, determining the future of the site, and executing the actual disposal of the site.

For example, please include documentation relating to discussions around the future of the site, any attempts to renovate, refurbish or bring back into usage the site.

Please include, but do not limit to, e-mails and meeting minutes.

If the council has taken no action to-date to implement its stated objective of disposal of the site over the previous 7 years, please can you confirm this?
