Dear Warwickshire County Council,

RE:Document disposal (or retention) Policy (or Schedule)

I have search locally on the County Councils website and globally using 'Google' using various search word options and I find one reference to a C.C. document concerning document disposal - namely W.C.C. H.R. records - the link to this is broken.

So please direct me to the County Council's "Document disposal Policy or Schedule" on your website, and arrange for it to be located during normal web searches or provide it in full through the means of the "Whatdotheyknow" service.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Waller

you are willing to pay the fees incurred, and setting out clearly what
those fees will be, in accordance with the FOI Act.

If you have any queries or should you wish to make a complaint about the

have requested is enclosed.

Please find below the correct link concerning document disposal as request

[1]http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/corporate...

The reason for this document not showing in a Google search was because
the title of the document had been amended earlier in the year.

Please note the current Disposal Schedule covering HR records is under
revision with a revised edition hopefully being available by the end of
the Summer.

The County Council currently has Disposal Schedules in certain
Directorates rather than a Corporate Disposal Scheme. In addition
guidance is sought via the Local Government Retention Schedule, which is
an online database hosted by the Records Management Society. It is hoped
to produce a Corporate Disposal Schedule in the future.

For your information I have attached our Environment & Economy Disposal
Schedule and our Social Care Disposal Schedule, which may be of interest
to you.

Currently our internal intranet is being revamped after which it is
envisaged that these schedules will be made available on the County
Council's website via the Publication Scheme.
You have the right to request that the County Council carry out an
internal review if you are not satisfied with the way your request was
dealt with or wish to appeal the decision. A request for an internal
review should be made in writing and addressed to me at the address above.
All requests for an internal review will be dealt with under the County
Council's internal review procedure.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the internal review you may
appeal to the Information Commissioner's Office, at the following address:
