DNACPR and Vaccination statistics for Covid-19 deaths

Dear University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust,

As of 4pm on 11 October 2020, NHS England reports that 540 patients have sadly died in your hospitals after testing positive for COVID-19.

1. How many of these 540 patients had DNACPR orders (or similar decisions) on their records?
2. How many of these 540 patients had been given a flu vaccine?

Yours faithfully,

Chris Doyle

Dear University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust's handling of my FOI request 'DNACPR and Vaccination statistics for Covid-19 deaths'.

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, with 623 patients, were able to answer the first part of the FOI (detailing not only how many of these patients had DNACPR order on their records, as well as distinguishing between COVID-19 as a contributing factor and main cause of death).

It is not unreasonable to expect you to be in a position to provide similar detail. It is unreasonable and somewhat evasive, to claim that you don't have time.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

Yours faithfully,

Chris Doyle
