Dear Care Quality Commission,

I would like to know how many CQC inspectors have been dismissed in the Scottish Borders due to misconduct in the past 3 years.

I would like to know how many CQC inspectors have been dismissed in Cumbria due to misconduct in the past 3 years.

I would like to know how many CQC inspectors have been found to file false reports when inspecting a care home.

I would like to know how the CQC monitors the inspectors and how the CQC prevents fraudulent reports from corrupt inspectors.

I would like to know the consequences for inspectors if they file false reports when inspecting a care home.

Yours faithfully,
Anja Swan.
