Discrimination Dictating State Entitlements - 2021 hmrc

We're waiting for Mr jones to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear HM Revenue and Customs,

March 2021

Dear Sir,

This is not a new FOI query. The original query was entitled: Discrimination Dictating State Entitlements - 2017

Some years ago, I experienced considerable difficulties securing unemployment entitlement. Although born here I am not white. Those responsible, racist Job Centre staff, not satisfied with denying me entitlements, also refused National insurance stamps. Its never been resolved and to this date, I'm menaced in response to complaints and protests.

Are you aware such criminal activities are carried out for reasons of both, racism and financial (or tangible) reward? That's to say, persecuting ethnic minorities is effectively encouraged within the local community as a means to financial gain: I go without entitlement and those frustrating my entitlement are rewarded. Kindly supply not me policy document dealing with this crime. Also, do you care to deal with such things ( theft of state monies) or is it a matter for some other government office?

Under Section 16 of the same Act, you are obliged to provide advice and assistance with or without a name. ICO confirms the same.

Regards
db

To whom it may concern,

We have for a period of time received correspondence from yourself on this
matter. We have previously communicated that a request under the FOIA is a
request for recorded information held by a public authority, in this case
you are seeking an explanation/clarification of an issue and therefore
this is not a valid FOIA request.

HMRC considers serious misconduct by members of its staff to be criminal
or near criminal behaviour and take these complaints very seriously,
guidance on  making such a complaint is available at
[1]https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlo...

However, your circumstance concerns difficulties you have experienced with
the Job Centre, this is a service provided by the Department for Work &
Pensions (DWP). I have provided a link to the DWP complaints procedure
below:

Dear HM Revenue and Customs,

Thank you for your message.

I plan to detail my complaint to hmrc. Kindly identify a post address to send it. An email address would be useful. The link you supply directs me to a gov.uk page offering details of multiple offices within hmrc; I'm not sure the correct one.

Yours faithfully,

Mr jones

Dear HM Revenue and Customs,

Thanks for your message. This is a follow-up query. Please deal with it according to the foi act.

I'm quite sure government does not tolerate any form of crime committed within offices of its state departments; much less so crimes of hate and racism. Please supply me copy of the government policy dealing with such crimes. Refer to my earlier communication for background.

I'd remind you: I go without entitlements or employment because I'm an ethnic minority: those denying me entitlements/employment are rewarded.

Kindly confirm receipt this message.

Yours faithfully,

Mr jones

Our ref: FOI2021/22246

Dear Mr jones,

Freedom of Information Act 2000 Acknowledgement

Thank you for your communication of 20th September which has been passed
to HMRC's Freedom of Information Team.

We have allocated the above reference which you should quote if you need
to contact us.

The Team will arrange for a reply to be sent to you which will either
comply with HMRC's obligations under Freedom of Information Act or, if we
think it's an enquiry that we don't need to address under the terms of the
Act, let you know why. If it is the latter we will, if possible, pass it
on to a more appropriate part of the Department for answer.

As you will appreciate, the coronavirus pandemic has provided
unprecedented challenges for Government Departments including HMRC. Over
the coming weeks our priorities are to provide critical existing and new
Public Services for Government to support customers during this difficult
time. As a result, resources may be diverted away from usual compliance or
information rights work. HMRC aims to respond to all FOIA Requests within
20 working days. If for whatever reason this timescale cannot be complied
with HMRC will, where possible, write to you explaining the reason for the
delay and providing an estimated time for response.

Yours sincerely

Dear FOI Central Team,

Thank you for your message. I've just downloaded the attachments. I plan to read them before marking this query complete. Hope this is OK.

For my information only, do you care to deal with such things or is it for some other office? Bear in mind DWP demonstrate little interest.

Yours sincerely,
Mr jones

Dear FOI Central Team,

Would you accept from me a formal complaint against staff of aJob Centre on the basis they knowingly and deliberately mishandled the public purse to serve racism?

Dear HM Revenue and Customs,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of HM Revenue and Customs's handling of my FOI request 'Discrimination Dictating State Entitlements - 2021 hmrc'.

Do you not have an interest in such affairs; according to your department responsibilities, you do.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

Yours faithfully,

Mr jones

Cyllid a Thollau Ei Mawrhydi

Dear Mr Jones,

Thank you for your email of 23 May in which you request an internal review. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept your request as it was submitted outside of the two month window. Our original freedom of information response was issued on 18 October 2021. That response explained how any review request had to be made within a specific timeframe.

In relation to your email of 28 February 2022, you asked if we could accept a formal complaint against staff of a Jobcentre. The Department for Work and Pensions are responsible for Jobcentres. You may therefore wish to review their complaints procedure:
