RDC FOI Ref: 4383 – Disciplinary

Dear Richmondshire

Freedom of Information Act 2000 – Information Request

Your request for information has now been considered and the information
requested is below.

Information Disclosed

-------------------------------------------------------

There were no grounds for disciplinary action to be taken against any
member of Senior Management in relation to this payment so none was
taken.

The Claim was brought against the Council and therefore the payment was
made by the Council.

The payment was made from the Housing Revenue Account because the employee
in question was employed as part of the housing service.

The Employment tribunal did not make any finding of guilt in relation to
any RDC Officer therefore your query has no basis.
