Dear Nottingham City Council,

Enterprise Car Club have exclusive rights to offer services throughout the city for pay per hour car rental.

They won this via an open tender. I would like to see the full evaluation that led to this winning bid compared to other bidders. I have searched the web, council website, and Enterprise Holdings website but I can't find these details.

Dear Requester,

 

The council has considered your request below, received on date received
11 August 2020.

 

Enterprise Car Club have exclusive rights to offer services throughout the
city for pay per hour car rental.

 

They won this via an open tender. I would like to see the full evaluation
that led to this winning bid compared to other bidders. I have searched
the web, council website, and Enterprise Holdings website but I can't find
these details.

 

The council have identified that some of the requested information may
need to be withheld under section 43 of the act as some of the information
may be commercially sensitive. We are currently in the process of applying
a Public Interest Test to the information. This is a test to see whether
the public interest in withholding the information is greater than in
releasing it. As a result of the above and in accordance with section
10(3) of the Act the council is extending the statutory deadline by which
we must respond to this request from 9 September 2020 to 7 October 2020
Date to consider the public interest arguments both in favour and against
disclosing this information.
