Dear Alan Hughes,

Well, you still have just over a week to reply to this before I take it to the Information Commissioner, but if you have the information collated, as you said would be a simple exercise for you, why not send it through now? Of course, if it has not been so simple for you, what can I say?

Yours sincerely,

Alan Finlayson

Dear Alan Hughes,

Whilst it comes as no surprise that you do not know what you are talking about "yes, we should be able to provide you with that information"/"we are not covered by the Freedom of Information Act" etc. etc., it is nonetheless extremely annoying to have had four weeks of my time wasted by your incompetence. However, two can play at that game. Right now though, I need to register a tenant's deposit.

In the meantime, please ensure that the circumstances surrounding my having been misled are fully investigated as part of an internal review.

Yours sincerely,

Alan Finlayson
