Pyroyiannos, Martin, Westminster City Council

Dear Mr Meredith

Thank you for your request for information ( our reference 6414)

Request for information pertaining to the Little Venice Ward Elections
(May 2006): The full names of the Proposer, Seconder and Assentors named
on the Statement as to Persons Nominated for
a) Ian McLean Adams
b) Melvyn Bernard Caplan
c) Margaret Mary Doyle
who were all duly elected as Ward Councillors on 4th May 2006.

I am sorry but the Statement as to Persons Nominated is not currently held
by the Electoral Services office. Rule 54 of the Local Elections (
Principal Areas) Rules 2006 states that all items should be stored
securely for one year after which, unless otherwise directed by an order
of the High Court, Crown Court or a magistrates court, they should be
disposed of in a secure manner. All the nomination papers and the
Statement as to Persons Nominated would have been disposed of in 2007.

In terms of further assisting you in this matter I wonder whether you have
searched the internet for this document as a Notice of this type may have
been archived and therefore be found on-line.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance.

Yours sincerely

Martin Pyroyiannos

Indeed the 'Notice of Poll' isn't kept, but the link posted earlier by Simon Jones is accurate. I kept a record of the Notice of Poll when it was issued in April 2006 and the link provided is to the identical document. The 10 names of proposer, seconder and 8 assenting electors are listed in two columns next to the 'Description' (ie party) of the candidate.
