Details of application for highways licence outside 210/212 Mill Road, Cambridge

The request was successful.

Dear Sir/Madam

As I understand permission has been given for a temporary cafe/bar area also known as the "Parklet" outside 210 and 212 Mill Road Cambridge.

As the ‘licence summary sticker’ is not displayed at the site, the basis of the permission is not clear. I cannot find it within the council's planning website.

It is most likely via a Highways licence/permit by Cambridgeshire County Council - perhaps under Part VIIA, Section 115(A to K) of the Highways Act 1980. https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/reside...

Please could you provide as applicable :

1. A copy of any application form and supporting documents, including where relevant :
- The plan showing the location of the premises
- The dimension plan showing the area to be utilised for tables and chairs
- Images showing types of furniture
- The freeholder's name, address and contact details, if it was not the applicant
- Details of public liability insurance policy for £5m as detailed in the licencing condition
2. A copy of the licence or permit as granted
3. Details of any specific conditions attached to the licence or permit
4. A copy of any associated correspondence about the application with the applicant and/or with the local councillors
5. Any evidence supplied by the applicant that they had obtained planning permission from the Local Planning Authority or that the Local Planning Authority had confirmed in writing that this was not required
6. Any evidence supplied by the applicant that a licence issued under the Licensing Act 2003 had been issued to cover the area, including for music.
7. The amount of annual licence fee paid, the date paid and the date of expiry of the permission.

Many thanks. My apologies for not knowing the specific type of permission applied for.

Yours faithfully,
Chris
