Robert Paul Jameson

Dear Staffordshire Police,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Staffordshire Police's handling of my FOI request 'Designated police stations'.

Stafordshire Police has closed all but three police stations in the county, and stated publicly that those three stations are the only "Prescribed" police stations. However, the document referred to in your response names a number of stations, including those which have been closed.

As such the Statutory Instrument you refer to does not, in fact, reflect Staffordshire's actual list of such police stations. This means that the exemption you are relyuing on is not available, as the information is not published and easily available elsewhere.

As such, you have not complied with my Freedom of Informaton Request. PLease comply and supply the informqation as requested forthwith.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

Yours faithfully,

Robert Paul Jameson

Freedom of Information, Staffordshire Police

Dear Mr Jameson,

Thank you for your email.

In our response letter you were provided with the following two links:

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2018/...

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2019/...

You clearly have used the first link (2018) which does indeed list a number of police stations but did you also look at the second link (2019)? This provides an amendment specifically naming the Staffordshire police stations that have been omitted from the earlier list thereby identifying the three remaining stations.

You of course still entitled to ask for an Internal Review, please let us know how you wish to proceed.

Kind regards.
