Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear University of Leeds,

I would like to ask for some information from last year's UCAS
cycle (2017 entry) for the dental hygiene and dental therapy course.

1) Can I get a list of criteria that the interviewers looked at
during the interview to determine a candidate’s suitability?

2) How was the interview scored? Was it a score out of 10 by each
interviewer or anything along those lines?

3) Please can you provide a copy of the interview form that is
used in the MMIs for the dental hygiene and therapy course
to assess candidates. This request is applicable to 2017 entry. I
would kindly like to request a copy of the form used in each of the MMI stations.

4) For 2018 entry, how many MMI stations will be used in the interview?

5) For 2018 entry, will there be any rest stations in the MMIs?

6) For 2018 entry, how many minutes will each station last for?

7) For 2018, (1) how many applicants applied, (2) how many will be interviewed and (3) how many offers will be given?

8) For 2018 entry, how many places are you offering on the Dental Hygiene and Therapy course?

9) For 2018 entry, will there be an element to the interview where applicants have to watch a film clip and comment?

Thank you very much

Yours faithfully,

Rania Hussain

Dear University of Leeds,

I would like to ask for some information from last year's UCAS cycle (2017
entry) for the dental hygiene and dental therapy course.

1) Can I get a list of criteria that the interviewers looked at during the
interview to determine a candidate’s suitability?

Unfortunately, this is not available publicly as it would compromise the
interview process.  What we do share in advance, to any applicant, is a
short overview of what the MMI's will look like and what to expect.  This
is not publicly available however, as it would give too much information
away and compromise the process.

2) How was the interview scored? Was it a score out of 10 by each
interviewer or anything along those lines?

The different stations are measured in different ways, but for the most
part they are scored poor - excellent.  There is robust criteria given for
each category, along with advice on how to mark.  Full training is given
to all assessors, so that they understand how to score fairly and
equitably.

3) Please can you provide a copy of the interview form that is used in the
MMIs for the dental hygiene and therapy course to assess candidates. This
request is applicable to 2017 entry. I would kindly like to request a copy
of the form used in each of the MMI stations.

I am afraid that this is not possible to send as it will compromise future
Multiple Mini Interviews.

4) For 2018 entry, how many MMI stations will be used in the interview?

There are 8 stations.

5) For 2018 entry, will there be any rest stations in the MMIs?

There are no rest stations.

6) For 2018 entry, how many minutes will each station last for?

Each station lasts 7 minutes, with 1 minute to move between each one.

7) For 2018, (1) how many applicants applied, (2) how many will be
interviewed and (3) how many offers will be given?

We have not yet made offers for 2018, but we received 436 applications,
invited 128 to interview.

8) For 2018 entry, how many places are you offering on the Dental Hygiene
and Therapy course?

We have not yet decided on this figure.

9) For 2018 entry, will there be an element to the interview where
applicants have to watch a film clip and comment?

No, we did not have this during the interviews this year.

Thank you very much

Yours faithfully,

Rania Hussain
