Dear Pat James,

Please see attached our response your FOI request, ref: FOI2015/09839.

Best wishes,

DE&S SEC Policy Secretariat

Dear DES SEC-PolSecShips and Subs (MULTIUSER), I cannot accept your answer as I know it not to be true. The primary reason for the privatisation of AWE was to save money, and as a measure of this several savings targets were put in place in the initial contract, which were enhanced in the current contract. So don't try and tell me the MoD does not have the information.

As you have not provided the information I will regard your response as a refusal without merit.

Yours sincerely,

Pat James
