Under the freedom of information act, I would like to the request the following information:

I would like to request the full report as to why the Saudi Aramco corporation is allowed to trade on the London Stock Exchange.

I would like to request evidence that the FCA holds to why the company is considered a "Premier Category Issuer".

I would also like to request documents or internally held policies that the FCA holds as to why the Saudi Arabia-owned company are exempt from the rules that privately owned companies are legally obligated to follow.

We write further to your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
(“the Act”), for the following information.
 

 1. ‘The full report as to why the Saudi Aramco corporation is allowed to
trade on the London Stock Exchange.

 

 2. Evidence that the FCA holds to why the company is considered a
"Premier Category Issuer".

 

 3. Documents or internally held policies that the FCA holds as to why the

Further to your email of 7 July 2018, and before considering your request
it might be helpful to note, the 20 working day period begins the day
after the request is received.  This means whilst your request was
submitted on 9 June 2018, the 20 working day began on Monday 11 June 2018.
 
Turning to your request, we do not hold the information you are seeking. 
In the context of your request, it might be helpful to note that the
company has not been admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange nor
has it been admitted to premium listing nor any other category within the
FCA’s Official List.  If it were to apply it would not be exempt from
rules that privately held companies are obligated to follow.

You are correct that the date of receipt starts on the working it was received. Day 1 started on Monday, June 11. Day 20 finished on Friday, July 6 - which was when the public authority should have responded by.
