Dear ‎Charlotte Lynch‏

Freedom of Information Act 2000

I am writing to ask you to clarify your request.  This is because we need
further details about Q1 in order to identify and locate the correct
information to answer your request.

1. How many children, who were known to your social services department,
died between 1st January 2017 - 30th November 2021? (Including those
dates).

Therefore, I should be grateful if you would clarify the parameters of
'known to your social services department'?  (This could be as little as
getting support for a child with a disability or a malicious report, right
up to S.47 or court orders).

I will not be able to take this matter further without this extra
information from you, please let me know by 10th March 2022.  If I do not
hear from you within the timeframe provided, I shall take it that you do
not wish to pursue this request and will consider the request closed.

If you need assistance, please contact me at:
[1][Warwickshire County Council request email]  in the first instance.

Kind regards

Dear Bruce,

Thank you for your response.

Please include scenarios in which, at the time the child died they had an open case with CSC, or CSC had received a report of concern about the child's safety and have since been notified of their death, or CSC had received a malicious report relating to a child and have since been notified of their death.

Yours sincerely,

Charlotte Lynch
