Data taken by parking enforcement
Dear Mendip District Council,
As part of your enforcement, your parking wardens note down registration numbers. If no offence is committed, what happens to this data?
E. G. In a parking spot limited to one hour, a warden will note down registration numbers of cars already there for him to check when he comes back in 1 hour. If those cars have moved on, what happens to their data?
Yours faithfully,
L

Dear Geoff
Thanks for your reply. I think the date you have given is later than the 20 days (I submitted this on Saturday, first working day is Monday - not the day you sent the reply).
I'd appreciate seeing your calculations otherwise.
Yours sincerely,
Tom Hodder

Dear Geoff
Thanks for the speedy response.
For clarity (and let me know if you think this is another request) - can you let me know how long they stay on the SIDEM system for? Forever? or a limited time?
Yours sincerely,
