a) The number of data protection complaints from members of the public

Our response:

 

a)    Please see the table below for the number of complaints from members
of the public to our Professional Standards Department regarding
complaints relating to data protection. The figures provided relate to all
police employees.

 

b)    The information is not categorised as ‘criminal records’ and
‘non-criminal records’, therefore the breakdown you have requested is not
specifically recorded.
