Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (as amended)

L. A. Jourdan made this Rhyddid Gwybodaeth request to Adran yr Amgylchedd, Bwyd a Materion Gwledig

This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs,

What is the number of dog attacks in London for the last full year for which you hold information? Please state the date period.

Of these attacks, how many were by Pitbull-type dogs?

Of those that were Pitbull-type, how many of those were registered on the Exempted index?

Of those those that were NOT on the Exempted Index (as aforementioned), how was "type" determined?

To determine "type" in these aforementioned dogs, how many of these were typed by independent assessment, ie outside of the Police?

Many thanks in advance.

Yours faithfully,

L. A. Jourdan
