Cycle safety - East Oxford LTNs
Dear Oxfordshire County Council,
Oxfordshire County Council plans to introduce new low traffic neighbourhoods in East Oxford, which will (probably) displace traffic onto the Cowley and Iffley Roads. At the same time, the council is also attempting to improve cycle safety on The Plain Roundabout - the same road that traffic will be displaced to following the introduction of the East Oxford LTNs.
Please provide me with any recent evaluation undertaken by Oxfordshire County Council, or third parties commissioned by it, in relation to the possible cycle safety implications on the Plain roundabout (specifically) posed by the East Oxford LTNs. I would be happy to recieve any evalualation undertaken, be that an official report, an informal report, or email correspondence between council staff and safety experts, etc. The time period for my request is 1 January 2022 to today's date.
Yours faithfully,
Richard Parnham
