Internal Review Request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

Our reference: Internal Review 10055

Dear Mrs Thapar,

I acknowledge receipt of your request for an internal review dated 11
December 2018 regarding the council’s response to your request for
information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI) relating to
educational placements (request ref. F/CRT/10010055).

Your complaint regarding the way the council has processed your request
for information has been passed to me, to investigate, and respond to you.

I am sorry you are dissatisfied with the council’s response to your FOI
request. The Information Commissioner’s Office allows a time limit of 20
to 40 working days to investigate and provide a full response to internal
review requests under the FOI. The council aims to complete this task
within 20 working days. I therefore calculate that a full response will be
provided to you by 14 January 2019.

Yours sincerely,

Sarah Kelly

Internal Review Request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

Our reference: Internal Review 10055

Dear Mrs Thapar,

I write regarding your request for an internal review, received on 11
December 2018.

As was explained in my acknowledgement of your internal review request,
the Information Commissioner’s Office recommends a time limit of 20 to 40
working days to investigate and provide a full response to internal
reviews under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Unfortunately it has
not been possible to complete my discussions with the relevant
departments, and finalise the internal review response within the 20
working day deadline which falls today (14 January 2019). I am therefore
extending this deadline by a further 20 working days to 11 February 2019.

I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you. I hope to send you
my response well before 11 February.

Yours sincerely,

Sarah Kelly
