CROYDON 20MPH - List of Roads + Traffic VOLUME + SPEED DATA by AREA + WARD

Gwrthodwyd y cais gan .

Dear Croydon Borough Council,

The council say they will assess the impact of their 20mph speed limits by comparing traffic speed and volume data before and after.
Thus the council has already collected data for the borough's roads.
The council also needs the number of residential and commercial addresses in each road - obtainable in part from Electoral Roll data,

Please provide an XLS spreadsheet with the following data.
A list of the borough's roads, with postcodes and classification, ward, 20mph area (1-5) and the date (or dates where more than one day was surveyed) of the three most recent traffic speed / volume surveys.
A separate speed survey is one where there is a gap of 2 weeks or more between it and another.
It is dates for 3 separate surveys that are required.

Where a road is partly in one area and partly in another one or more, show the house numbers for each, using extra rows as necessary
Similarly for roads straddling two or more wards, and with two or more POSTCODES..
Where there is no speed survey data ever collected, or fewer than 3 sets, show (no data held) in the relevant row and column

COLUMN 1 - ROAD NAME
COLUMN 2 - ROAD CLASSIFICATION, eg A23, B272, Cnnnn
COLUMN 3 - ROAD DISTRICT, eg Norbury, Purley
COLUMN 4 - ROAD POST CODE
COLUMN 5 - 20MPH AREA - 1,2,3,4 or 5
COLUMN 6 - WARD or WARDS
COLUMN 7 - number of addresses
COLUMN 8 - DATE OF MOST RECENT SPEED SURVEY
COLUMN 9 - DATE OF NEXT MOST RECENT SPEED SURVEY
COLUMN 10 - DATE OF THIRD RECENT SPEED SURVEY

Please provide the spreadsheet in XLS format rather than XLSX so that it is accessible to the widest possible audience.

Yours faithfully,

James Muldoon

Dear Freedom of Information,

My request has remained outstanding for more than the legal maximum time period allowed.
This FOI Request is of urgency due to the current 20mph consultation.
It should also be straightforward to provide the information, as presumably the council has already performed the necessary analysis, and it is simply a matter of providing it for this FOI.
Please explain the delay, and when to expect the information.

Yours sincerely,

James Muldoon

Dear Croydon Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Croydon Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'CROYDON 20MPH - List of Roads + Traffic VOLUME + SPEED DATA by AREA + WARD'.

This FOI Request has not received any effective reply despite the maximum time allowed expiring 2 weeks ago, and despite a reminder being sent.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

James Muldoon

Dear Mr Muldoon

Freedom of Information Request

Please see attached the council's response to your Freedom of Information
request.

I am sending this in two parts in case the size of the attachment files
cause a bounce back error message.

Kindly also advise if you would still like an internal review to be
conducted now the response is with you.

Dear Mr Muldoon,

Freedom of Information Request

As we seem to keep getting bounce-back error messages when we send zipped
files in the attachments, we have attached them separately to see if this
fixes the issue.

Please see attached the council's second response to complete your Freedom
of Information request.

Yours sincerely
