Under the Freedom of Information Act please could you provide me with the following information:

For each of the years between 2010/ 11 and 2018/19, how many violent crimes took place in your area?
How many of these crimes per year took place in daylight, and how many took place after dark?
How many of these crimes per year that took place in daylight had female victims, and how many had male victims?
How many of these crimes per year that took place after dark had female victims, and how many had male victims?

Please could you provide me with this information in an excel spreadsheet.

If you need any clarification then please do not hesitate to contact me. Under Section 16 it is your duty to provide advice and assistance and so I would expect you to contact me if you find this request unmanageable in any way.

Your request will now be considered in accordance with the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (the Act). You should expect to receive a response
within the statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by the Act,
subject to the information not being exempt or containing a reference to a
third party. In some circumstances Derbyshire Constabulary may be unable
to achieve this deadline. If this is likely you will be informed and given
a revised timescale at the earliest opportunity.

 

There may be a fee payable for the retrieval, collation and provision of
the information you request. If this is the case you will be informed and
the 20 working day timescale will be suspended until we receive payment
from you. If you choose not to make payment then your request will remain
unanswered.

 

Some requests may also require either full or partial transference to
another public authority in order to answer your query in the fullest
possible way. Again, you will be informed if this is the case.

Dear Ms Coleman,

Thank you for your recent FOI concerning the below which is currently
receiving attention.

For each of the years between 2010/ 11 and 2018/19, how many violent
crimes took place in your area?

How many of these crimes per year took place in daylight, and how many
took place after dark?

How many of these crimes per year that took place in daylight had female
victims, and how many had male victims?

How many of these crimes per year that took place after dark had female
victims, and how many had male victims?

However, in order to best respond I seek clarification on the following
point. 

Please confirm what times you mean by daylight and after dark.

I also need to add that pending receipt of this clarification I have
placed your request on hold where it will remain for 20 working days and
that if nothing is received within this period I will assume that the
information is no longer required and close the FOI down marked as
‘withdrawn’.
