Crime statistics for under 10 year olds
Dear City of London Police,
Please can you tell me how many children at the age of 10 or below the age of criminal responsibility have been found responsible for crimes in the police area and which towns they were in for the past five years (2012 - 2017)
Yours faithfully,
Murray Jacobsen
Dear City of London Police,
Please can I have the information that I previously requested? By law I should have had at least an acknowledgment by now.
Yours faithfully,
Murray Jacobsen
Classification: NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED
Dear M Jacobsen
Thank you for my email and please accept our ongoing apologies for the delay.
In response to the acknowledgement, you would have received an automatic reply which is the acknowledgement and sets the process out.
As for the request.
We have had an issue with staff issues and data retrieval from our crime reporting system. However we have now introduced a stable plan to have a team start within our unit on the 22nd January so we can work to clear the backlog of requests.
I will mark yours up as urgent and hope to receive a response back to you by the end of the month.
Apologies again.
