We have interpreted your request to be asking for the number of paediatric
patients (under 18’s) who were admitted to hospital already having tested
positive for COVID on their admission and with no underlying health
conditions? We would be grateful if you could confirm if this is correct.
In accordance with the Act, we aim to respond to your request within
twenty working days of receipt. If it becomes clear that provision of the
information you have asked for is likely to take longer than twenty

Please note:
The Trust is in Major Incident Mode due to Covid-19. This means staff who
normally supply information are either being diverted to frontline
patient care during the current COVID-19 outbreak or otherwise being
diverted. In the light of this situation, we would kindly request that
any further requests be submitted at a later date once the current public
health emergency has abated. However, if you consider your request urgent,
we will still log it and aim to get your response to you as soon as
possible but there are likely to be delays, for which we apologise.
