How many of the covid19 cases are from people that went into hospital for non covid19 reasons and got covid19 while in hospital?

How many non covid19 patients in hospital have got covid19 in hospital and then died from covid19?

I am writing in relation to your Freedom of Information request of 19 February 2021

Your request pertains to various points related to COVID-19 hospital cases.

Having consulted with the relevant business areas within the Executive Office (TEO), the Department would not hold any of the requested information. Please note that the Executive Office is one of a number of separate and legally distinct public authorities which make up the Northern Ireland Executive.

The Department for Health has responsibility for Health and Social Care, Public Health and Public safety. It has taken a science led approach in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is likely to hold relevant information. For ease of reference, please find below the relevant email address should you wish to pursue your enquiries.
