Court Order with NO Court Seal

Waiting for an internal review by HM Courts and Tribunals Service of their handling of this request.

Mr Sam Hallimond

Dear Her Majesty's Courts Service,

Under a Freedom of Information request, could information be supplied as to the legality of a Court Order with no Seal. This information is to include the questions listed below;

1. Does this make the Court Order, effectively a Non-Order?
2. Is any subsequent action regarding this Order legal?
3. Would any action taken as the result of a Order without Court seal,(a)be a legal act and (b) would action taken, resulting from a "no seal" Order e.g search and seizure, adoption, etc be a legal act?
4. Would action resulting from a "no seal" Order be considered as either a fraudulent or criminal act?

Yours faithfully,

Mr Sam Hallimond

Many thanks for the correspondence regarding my request.

I would like to say that maybe I have made my request slightly unclear, and would like to clarify my position.

1. When I asked for this information, my request should have clearly stated "Documented" information e.g Practice Directions, Civil Procedures rules, Family Procedures rules, Statutes and MOJ guidelines.

I hope that this clarification is an assistance to getting the required information expedited to me, at your earliest convenience.

Dear Her Majesty's Courts Service,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Her Majesty's Courts Service's handling of my FOI request 'Court Order with NO Court Seal'.

1. I believe the questions I asked, would be covered under a FOI request, it is not available in public domain and when I first started requesting this information your office advised me in writing to address this information as a "Freedom Of Information" request.

2. Because of this I believe that deliberatly denied this information.

3. I now believe that I can offer you a period of 20 day of notification, before I publish both the letters recieved and also this entire FOI request, on such mediums as Google Documents and various Blog mediums.

4. I will make it clear that this is neither a threat. All I am doing is exercising my right and make my findings public, with all the information.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:
