Russel Bailey, Skills Funding Agency

Dear Debbie

Thank you for your request for information received on 3 March.

You have requested the following information:

1. A list of all councils within the UK who have an adult learning/lifelong learning department.

2. Could this information also contain email contacts for the relevant department.

We do not hold a specific list as you have requested. However, the information you have described, where held by the Skills Funding Agency is accessible to you, as described below.

The Skills Funding Agency is responsible for funding apprenticeships and adult further education in England. We do not have responsibility for similar funding for other parts of the United Kingdom.

We publish the names of the organisations that we fund, including local authorities, on the GOV.UK website:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicatio...

Those organisations are required to publish latest contact details on the UK Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP), which can be accessed using the search facility here:

https://www.ukrlp.co.uk/

However, these organisations are not required to supply contact details specifically for an adult learning / lifelong learning department.

Yours sincerely
