Liz Futcher, Arun District Council

Dear Jan

Since this response was sent yesterday, there have been amendments to the
Coronavirus Bill so when you are reviewing the link below, you now need to
look at the section on ‘Postponement of elections, referendums, recall
petitions and canvass”.  Clause 59 onwards in the draft of 24.03.20 may
address your question – please be aware that the clause numbers are
changing as amendments are raised.

Best wishes

Liz

Dear Liz,

Thanks for your replies.

For clarification, can you confirm that

1. The list of current Councillors shown at https://democracy.arun.gov.uk/mgMemberIn... remains valid

2. None of those listed has resigned or submitted their resignations within the past 12 months.

Would you confirm this with the Returning Officer?

Yours sincerely,

Jan Cosgrove

Liz Futcher, Arun District Council
