2) How many people are in each band of priority?
3) How many properties in the council’s housing stock, and how many are vacant?
4) What is the longest time a person has been on the waiting list?

2023 where you asked for information regarding Council Housing Waiting
Lists as of August 2023.
Under [1]Section 1(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 we can
confirm that Boston Borough Council does hold the information specified in
your request.
1) The number of people on the council’s housing waiting list?
1208
Under [2]Section 16 of the FOIA – Advice and assistance, Social housing in
the East Lindsey district and Boston Borough consists of homes owned and
managed by Social Housing Providers (Housing Associations). There are no
council owned properties in either area. Social housing is allocated
through the East Lindsey and Boston Borough’s joint Housing Register and
these are let through a Choice Based Lettings (CBL) scheme.
2) How many people are in each band of priority?
Band 1 – 9, Band 2 – 93, Band 3 – 331, Band 4 – 775
3) How many properties in the council’s housing stock, and how many are
vacant?
Information not held – Under [3]Section 16 of the FOIA – Advice and
assistance, Boston Borough Council does not hold any housing stock.
4) What is the longest time a person has been on the waiting list?
10 years
