Under Section 1(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 we can
confirm that South Holland District Council does hold the information
specified in your request and is provided below.

 

1) The number of people on the council’s housing waiting list?

596

2) How many people are in each band of priority?

a.       Band 1 - 25

b.       Band 2 – 70

c.       Band 3 – 248

d.       Band 4 – 253

3) How many properties in the council’s housing stock, and how many are
vacant?

a.       We own 3730

b.       We manage 70

c.       Shared Ownership 24

 

None are classed as vacant. They may be void where they are having work
done to them before a new tenant moves in.

4) What is the longest time a person has been on the waiting list?

The longest time that a current application has been on the waiting list
is 7 years and 28 days. They have been active on the waiting list since
the 5^th July 2016.
