Dear Argyll and Bute Council,

I'd like to make a request under the Freedom of Information act for all transactions over £500 from 1st January 2019 to 30th June 2019. Please provide the data in a machine readable format (preferably CSV). As a minimum, please be sure to include the date, value, recipient and the procurement category of each transaction.

For avoidance of doubt, I am making this request under the Freedom of Information Act. I await your response within 20 working days.

May we also request the narrative (or payment categories) associated with these transactions? We are finding it very hard to classify the data without that (for example: In-House Fostering). I understand that the empty rows must refer to "REDACTED personal sensitive" information.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your e-mail, I've not had any feedback to see if it's possible to break it down by category type as most of the transactions go through by supplier. I've asked for an update.

I haven’t spoken to Mr. Homi Ghadiali, the reason why I'd asked for the call was to see if there was a better way for you to get or us to supply the information that you want in a format that would be suitable. Having had a look at the last spreadsheet we sent there are almost 15,000 individual transactions on it.

If you are looking for example:

How much was spent on accommodation & what the suppliers are?
How much was spent on food supplies and who were the suppliers?

I think this might be something we might be able to supply.
