Costs of all re-branding for Haringey Council

Please can you provide all costs relating to the recent re-branding for Haringey.

This should include:
1 Appointing an agency - advertising costs - where and when advertised and provide the brief
2 Costs / agency fees of the appointed agency (who was appointed?)
3 Concepts and design costs
4 Costs of printing new materials with the new branding - notepaper, business cards
5 Costs of new signage for all public council buildings both externally and internally - to include schools and colleges, car parks, libraries. leisure centres, customer service centres
6 Costs of changing signage on parks, open spaces, council estates
7 Costs of changing the design on all council vehicles - to include bin lorries, and other transport
8 Costs of officer time at meetings associated with the re-branding.

The breakdown of the £85,936 includes the obvious one-off costs of the brand strategy (I would say, £60,000). There are other costs recorded then – at 18 September 2015 – that could be regarded as items that deploy the new logo:

• Major Council Signage
• Agripa waste refuse panels (on the sides of rubbish trucks)
• Staff ID badges
• Pin badges

Three agencies were approached through research and recommendations.

Bandstand was the appointed agency

Brand Strategy and Visual identity £40000

Film to promote the borough’s strengths £20000

 

4 Costs of printing new materials with the new branding - notepaper,
business cards

Pin badges - £2489

 

Stationery is only replaced when required

 

5 Costs of new signage for all public council buildings both externally
and internally - to include schools and colleges, car parks, libraries.
leisure centres, customer service centres

6 Costs of changing signage on parks, open spaces, council estates

 

So far 6 Parks have received new signage at a cost of £5708.31            

Council estates are managed by Homes for Haringey who have their branding
in place.

 

7 Costs of changing the design on all council vehicles - to include bin
lorries, and other transport

 

The logo appeared on Agripa panels on the side of waste refuse vehicles at
a cost of £8000

 

Vehicles are re-branded when either new vehicles are acquired or new
leases are put in place.

 

One new parks vehicle has been branded at a cost of £960.00

 

8 Costs of officer time at meetings associated with the re-branding.

 

The branding project was carried out as BAU in terms of officer time.
