Cost to Pennine Trust of secure transfer of patients detained under section 2 and 3 of the Mental Health Act

We're waiting for Andrea Maden to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust,

During the month of July 2020, please can you advise:

1) how many Secure Patient transfers were commissioned by the trust for those patients detained under section 2 and 3 of the Mental Health Act?

2) which companies were used to transfer the patients that were detained under section 2 and 3 of the mental health act?

4) what the cost of each patient transfer was to the Trust and a breakdown of how that cost was constructed by the billing company (the patient transfer company) ie the cost of each member of staff on each transfer, the cost per mile charged by the patient transfer company and any other costs that form part of the invoice to the trust for the secure patient transfer.

Yours faithfully,

Andrea Maden
