Thank you for your request for information that was received on 4 June
2020 concerning Dear Liverpool City Council,

An article in the Liverpool Echo dated 30 June 2016, about fly-tipped
waste material at a disused rag yard in Birkett Street, stated that "the
council has now stepped in to remove the waste."

Please advise:

1. The total cost to the council for the removal of this waste and
generally cleaning and clearing the site.

2. Whether any of this amount was recouped from the owner of the site and,
if so, the amount recouped.
