John Robertson made this Rhyddid Gwybodaeth request to Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Mae'r ymateb i'r cais hwn yn hwyr iawn. Yn ôl y gyfraith, ym mhob amgylchiad, dylai Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government fod wedi ymateb erbyn hyn. (manylion). Gallwch gwyno drwy yn gofyn am adolygiad mewnol.

Dear Department for Communities and Local Government,
Please provide a copy of corresondance between your department and the building research establishment since the Grenfell Tower fire.

If this is awkward or expensive to provide, it may help if I say what I'm looking for in case simpler and cheaper for you to provide it, and to show a public interest.

I am looking for notes of what fire safety standard the department wanted to test, and whether this differed from standards in force at the time cladding was fitted by landlords who sent it in.

I imagine that most information will be in letters and email, but transcripts of specific phone calls on this narrow subject will probably reveal more.
regards

John Robertson
