Correspondence relating to the removed Priti Patel clip from Twitter
Dear BBC,
On 20 November 2019 16:53 BBC North West (@BBCNWT) shared a video of Home Secretary, Priti Patel, on Twitter. The tweet was later deleted and a reworded version of the tweet was later posted.
It was reported by Joe Tidy, who claims to be Digital Elections Reporter for BBC News, that the original clip was removed following a complaint from the Conservative Party.
Please provide all communication, including the original complaint, in relation to this between the BBC and the complainant.
Yours faithfully,
Christian
