Dear Mr Dootson

I am writing in response to your request for information under the terms
of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, Ref No EIR/17/008.

Please find below, the details of your request and our response in blue.

Your request was as follows:

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUESTED  regarding application No 13/01042/FUL

o A copy of the planning officers report following a site visit to
verify as to whether the proposed anchor tree 0042 measuring 14.6 cms
in diameter was fit for purpose considering that the minimum diameter
requirement of 35 cm diameter was referred to in the support statement
for planning application 08/00553/FUL.

The case officer does not do a ‘report’ following a site visit.  Caron
Taylor, as the case officer, did a site visit and this helps formulate a
recommendation on the application which is then written up into a
committee report  – this report is a public file.

The matter of tree 0042 is covered within the report and specifically at
paragraph 73.

o A copy of the tree officers report regarding the use of tree 0042, and
all reports submitted to the planning authority referring to BS5837 or
any other British Standard required report.

All the tree officer’s comments are on the public planning application
file as is all information/reports submitted to the local planning
authority.

o A copy of the tree officers report that contains a comment regarding
tree number 0042.

This seems the same question as above. As per above, any comments made by
the tree officer are on the public planning application file.

o A copy of all documentation between the tree officer and the planning
department containing any references to the supporting statement by
go-ape that all trees on the course would be the minimum diameter of
35 cm diameter.

As per above, any comments, e-mails etc made by the tree officer are on
the public planning application file.

o A copy of all correspondence between the planning authority and go-ape
following the site visit by the planning officer .

Any correspondence on this matter is on the public planning application
file.  One further e-mail has been found which is attached.  A copy of it
has also been placed on the public file too.

o A copy of all documentation between the planning authority and go-ape
following the development committee’s decision to support the planning
officer’s recommendation for approval.

All correspondence on this application between the Local Planning
Authority and Go-Ape post the committee’s decision is on the public
planning application file.

o All correspondence between Gary Hall and the planning authority
between the date of the 26th Feb 2014 and the 4th March 2014 regarding
planning application 13/01042/FUL

No documents held that match this criteria.

Whilst carrying out this search only 3 documents were located relating to
this planning application, two being letters that were sent to yourself
and the third being a copy of the minutes of the Development Control
Committee meeting on Tuesday 04 February 2014.  You will have more than
likely already seen these, however I have arranged for copies to be posted
to you in case you didn’t receive them.

I hope the information provided here answers your enquiry.  If however,
you are unhappy with the outcome, or the way in which Chorley Council has
handled your request, you may wish to make an appeal.  This can be done in
writing to the Information Manager, Chorley Council, Civic Offices, Union
Street, Chorley, PR7 1AL, or by e-mail to: [1][email address]  clearly
stating your reasons for dissatisfaction.  Please quote the above
reference number in all correspondence.

If your appeal is either not upheld or you remain dissatisfied with our
decision, you can appeal to the Information Commissioner at:  Information
Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9
5AF, or by e-mail to [2][email address].

Please note that the information provided by Chorley Borough Council is
intended for your personal use. If it is your intention to re-use the
information for commercial gain, you will need to apply to the Council for
a licence to re-use it, under the Re-Use of Public Sector Information
Regulations 2005.

Yours sincerely
